Project Manager

Salary: £31,350 - £37,323 + Benefits

Job description
Are you an experienced project manager with proven ability to deliver major capital programmes within the public realm? Are you fully capable of procuring and supervising consultants?


Operating within an exciting environment, you will introduce innovative ideas to make all the difference for local communities. To this end, you will manage the funding, development and delivery of a wide spectrum of high profile infrastructure, environmental and social projects across the borough - creating a cleaner, greener, safer Southwark for everyone.


At the same time, you will represent the Council at some important regeneration forums, giving you considerable impact on broader best practice. Consequently, you will need impressive interpersonal and presentation skills, ideally backed by a good degree in Project Management, Architecture, Design or Management. Notably, you will be skilled in preparing and controlling budgets, able to prioritise a complex and conflicting workload - and ready to do whatever it takes to enhance lives.
