PETA Foundation a large Norfolk based international non-profit company is looking for an experienced professional to manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department. Duties include overseeing balance sheet account reconciliations, investment management, cash reports, budgeting, financial analysis & reporting, and the coordination of financial information for year-end audits & tax reports. Candidates must have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and have an active CPA or be a CPA candidate and at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience with proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software applications.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and Certified Public Accountant license
• Five or more years of management experience
• Ability to provide proof of a positive credit standing
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commitment to the objectives of the organization
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
